Founded in 1984, Interior Alaska Gun Dog Association is a family oriented organization for bird dog enthusiasts. We are dedicated to raising, training and testing hunting dog breeds. Our goal is to promote and encourage hunting with a trained bird dog. This not only improves the hunting breeds, but also promotes conservation of waterfowl and other game birds.

In 2002, our club became affiliated with the Hunting Retriever Club. Their motto, "Conceived by hunters, for hunters" is the foundation for all of our activities.
